Professional Information
Dr. Chao Ji-Hyland is a lecturer in the Faculty of Business at Technological University Dublin. She is recognised as a leader both in the university and nationally in the development of educational training prevision in the logistics & supply chain management sector. She is awarded PhD for “The impact of business environment factors on supply chain buyer-supplier relationships and supply chain performance”.
Her current research focuses on building supply chain resilience, sustaining purchasing relationships, and creating green and sustainable logistics & supply chain performance, with a special focus on the supply chain & logistics sector. She is experienced in designing two-stage research methods, conducting both qualitative and quantitative research, and analysing qualitative and quantitative data. She is proficient in the use of Structural Equation Modelling and in disseminating results through reports, presentations, and publications.
She has extensive experience in third-level education, working closely with international universities on joint research and teaching. She has successfully secured funding, including CSC research funding, and has applied partnership for IRC, COALESCE and MSCA funding. She is a former programme coordinator and has enjoyed leading programme teams in completing academic projects and achieving their academic goals.
Dr. Ji-Hyland is an excellent lecturer and an active researcher with publications in prestigious journals. She leads international academic projects, teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and supervises PhD students. Externally, she serves as a committee board member of the Logistics Research Network at CILT UK.
