Dr. Caitríona de Paor is a full-time Lecturer in the School of Transport and Civil Engineering in Technological University (TU) Dublin, as well as working part-time for research consultancy Research Driven Solutions combining structural engineering research and teaching. Dr. de Paor graduated with a first class honours BE Civil (Hons) degree and PhD in Engineering (involving a secondment to MIT), both from UCC. Caitriona is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with varied industry experience in civil / structural engineering as well as the offshore industry. She has been involved in a number of commercial and European research projects including H2020 and CEDR-funded projects with research interests in the areas of:
