Expert in lignocellulosic and mineral reinforcements and their composites (in organic and inorganic matrices) for various areas of applications. Expert in experimental and analytical methodology design. Expert in lignocellulosic materials chemistry and surface analysis. High expertise in durability and accelerated ageing. Expert in surface engineering/modification of lignocellulosic biomass using polymeric nanocomposites; graphene and carbon-based nanomaterials functionalisation; mussel-inspired chemistry; metallic oxides-based surface tailoring; bio-based polymeric-colloidal emulsions; superhydrophobic and smart reinforcements.
