Awarded a BSc in Experimental Physics from University College Dublin in 1997 and an MSc in Physical Sciences in Medicine from Trinity College Dublkin in 2000.

Appointed as a Basic Grade Physicist in the Department of Medical Physics and Bioengineering, St. James's Hospital from 1997 to 2002.

Appointed as a Lecturer in Physics within the School of Physics, Clinical and Optometric Sciences at DIT in 2002 teaching radiation biology, radiation, nuclear and particle physics, and data science and AI.

Appointed a Funded Investigator at SFI ADAPT in 2019.

Research focusses on in multivariate statistical analysis, machine learning and AI with hyperspectral imaging for the development of diagnostic and prognostic imaging solutions for prediction of cancer treatment response for use in individualized therapy planning. 

Dr. Meade is Director of TU Dublin’s BSc in Physics with Data Science.
