The IEO Centre is a TU Dublin designated Research Centre, based in the School of Physics and Clinical & Optometric Sciences and aligned with the FOCAS Research Institute. IEO has been active in holography research for more than 25 years and has developed novel technologies in product authentication, vibration measurement, sensing and optical device fabrication.
IEO has graduated more than 30 MSc and PhD research students, holds 6 granted patents and has spun out a company.
