Description
A QUV tester is a type of accelerated weathering tester that exposes materials to simulated sunlight, rain, and dew in controlled cycles to predict how they will degrade outdoors over time. It uses fluorescent UV lamps to replicate the sun's damaging rays and condensing humidity or water spray to simulate moisture, accelerating the effects of natural weathering like gloss loss, chalking, cracking, and strength loss.
