Description
The Nikon Eclipse E600 Fluorescence Microscope is a versatile research instrument that uses light to excite fluorescent molecules (fluorophores) in a specimen, causing them to emit light of a different color, which is then observed to visualize structures within cells and tissues in detail, often for applications in biology and medicine. It features Nikon's CFI60 optical system for bright, sharp images and can also be used for brightfield, darkfield, Nomarski DIC, and phase contrast imaging.
