Description

A Nanodrop 1000 Spectrophotometer is a lab instrument that quantifies and analyzes the purity of nucleic acids (DNA, RNA) and proteins using just 1-2 microliters of sample. It uses a unique microvolume measurement system, relying on the surface tension of the liquid sample to hold it between two pedestals, eliminating the need for cuvettes. The instrument measures the full UV-Vis spectrum (220-750 nm) in seconds, providing results for concentration and purity, and can even detect and help correct for contaminant
