Jasco J-810 Spectropolarimeter

The Jasco J-810 Spectropolarimeter is a hybrid instrument that measures circular dichroism (CD), which involves the differential absorption of left and right circularly polarized light by optically active molecules, and UV/Vis absorption, which measures how much light is absorbed at different wavelengths. It is commonly used to determine the secondary structure of proteins and monitor their thermal and chemical stability. The instrument operates over a broad wavelength range (163-900 nm) and can be equipped with accessories for Peltier temperature control to precisely regulate sample temperature.
