A Daylight Solutions Spero IR Microscope uses quantum cascade laser (QCL) infrared spectroscopy to perform high-speed, wide-field chemical imaging, identifying and quantifying molecules within samples. This allows for real-time, label-free analysis of complex samples, such as tissues for diagnostics or environmental samples, by collecting hyperspectral data cubes in seconds, rather than minutes or hours.
