Description

The Olympus FluoView FV1000 is a confocal laser scanning microscope system designed for high-resolution imaging of biological samples, particularly for observing live cells over long periods. It does this by using a laser to scan a specimen point by point, collecting fluorescence and reflected light, and using a confocal aperture to eliminate out-of-focus light and create clear, "sliced" optical images of the specimen. The FV1000 features a humidified chamber for long-term live-cell imaging, multiple lasers, AOTF (Acousto-Optic Tunable Filter) for high-speed laser control, and advanced software for analysi
