Description
An anechoic chamber is a special room designed to absorb sound and radio waves to prevent reflections and echoes, creating a "free-field" environment. It does this by lining its walls, ceiling, and floor with sound-absorbing materials, such as foam or fiber wedges. This creates an environment with no echoes for applications like sound-quality testing of machinery and speakers and for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing of electronic devices.
