Description

The Agilent Cary 620 FTIR system is a Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) microscope that performs chemical imaging to identify and locate specific compounds within a sample. Using a focal plane array (FPA) detector, it collects thousands of spatially resolved spectra simultaneously, providing detailed information about a sample's composition, distribution of components, and quality. This enables applications such as polymer defect analysis, contamination detection, and biological sample analysis with high sensitivity, speed, and spatial resolution.
