Aligning Population and Housing Targets with Development Land in the Dublin Region (2023)

This data set was produced as part of a regional planning project which investigated how compact growth was to be achieved in the 4 Dublin Local Authorities by analysing each of their Development Plans. The investigation focussed specifically on a); how the Dublin Planning Authorities allocated the overall population targets for the Dublin Region (which were included in the Metropolitan Area Spatial Plan (MASP) of the Regional Spatial & Economic Strategy (RSES) of the Eastern and Midland Region (EMRA). b); How each Local Authority proposed to meet their statutory targets of accommodating 50% of their population increase on infill and brownfield development sites
