In its 14th edition, the Corde d’Autunno Festival to Milan with an even more international and intergenerational focus. Dedicated to classical guitar, the festival will take place at the Centro Asteria from November 24 to 26.

The program will be rich and diverse, spanning genres and expressive forms. Audiences can look forward to concerts, masterclasses, luthiery exhibitions, meetings, and conferences, all centered around promoting the cultural richness of Italy.

Among the many distinguished guests, the festival is delighted to welcome SoloDuo, The Volterra Project Trio, and Elena Casoli to its stage.

The Corde d’Autunno Festival is located near the Navigli district, a vibrant cultural hub in Milan. By purchasing the Festival Pass, attendees can access all the scheduled events throughout the weekend. Alternatively, individual day tickets are available for those interested in attending specific events.

Festival Highlights
Notable performances at the Corde d’Autunno 2023 include:

SoloDuo (Lorenzo Micheli and Matteo Mela): presenting a program dedicated to the art of transcription for guitar duo.
The Volterra Project Trio (Antigoni Goni, Luca Isolani, Maarten Vandenbendem): showcasing an innovative recording project inspired by the sound and artistry of José Luis Romanillos.
Elena Casoli: performing during the screening of the film Sypario, with director Fabio Selvafiorita attending.
A centerpiece of the festival is the luthiery exhibition, which will feature a selection of historically significant guitars alongside exquisite contemporary instruments crafted by Italian luthiers.

More Than Just Concerts
A major component of the Corde d’Autunno 2023 is the launch of the new Residenze Erranti project. This advanced artistic training initiative awards six scholarships to international artists and projects focused on innovative research and development. Festival attendees will have the opportunity to meet these artists and learn about their work.
