Description
The 12th edition of the Corde d’Autunno Festival—an international festival dedicated to classical guitar—returns to Milan. Organized by the Centro Asteria and directed by Marco Ramelli, the festival will feature a program that brings together world-renowned artists and professors from leading international conservatories. The aim is to revive the dialogue around music and culture in meaningful spaces. For this edition, we have designed a program of four concerts showcasing artists celebrated globally for their exceptional technical, artistic, and creative qualities. At the same time, these performers have the ability to captivate and inspire a broader audience.
On November 26, the SoloDuo (Matteo Mela and Lorenzo Micheli) will perform a program featuring beloved works by Piazzolla, Debussy, and Beethoven. On November 27, Evangelina Mascardi, one of the finest lutenists in the international concert scene, will take the stage. On November 28, the festival will conclude with the elegant refinement of Andrea Dieci's guitar performance.

PHILOSOPHY OF THE MEETING
This weekend is designed as a space for exchange and interaction among professionals dedicated to the development and promotion of the guitar. Over two days, we aim to create an environment for networking and discussion, where participants can explore new ideas and possibilities together.
HOW IT WORKS
Interactive Lessons: Invited educators will conduct lessons with intermediate-advanced students, engaging and involving participating teachers. Attendees will be divided into small groups to encourage discussion. Informal follow-up sessions will allow groups to share their reflections.
Workshops: Sessions will focus on topics related to the guitarist’s physical and mental well-being, providing teachers with tools to enhance their understanding of posture and proper body use.
Roundtable Discussions: Opportunities for dialogue and exchange on topics related to pedagogy. The event will conclude with an open space for brainstorming ideas and potential future developments for this initiative.
Teaching Materials Presentation: Introduction of new teaching resources for students, aimed at enhancing their learning and deepening their understanding of the instrument.
