A collaboration between visual artist Sinéad Curran and Blacklion Tidy Towns. Sinéad's Breathnu Draiochta project ongoing explores wetlands that surround our lakes and rivers and their ecosystems.

This heritage event took place on the water. We travelled by boat through the Upper Lough MacNean Lake on a floating field trip. Guest speaker Bridget Keenan - botanist with BSBI gave her expertise on local native species and aquatic plants, and the importance to the local biodiversity. Following the field trip, Sinéad Curran provided a cameraless workshop in the Market House Blacklion, the Cavan Major recited a local poem 'The Yellow Bittern' .
